We are thrilled to announce that after a brief hiatus, we’re back with a dynamic conference that you won’t want to miss! Mark your calendars for October 11th & 12th, 2024 as we host a joint conference with MAPA (Mid-Atlantic Pathologists Assistants) at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.

This year’s conference promises to be an extraordinary event, bringing together Pathologists' Assistants from across the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions and beyond for a weekend filled with knowledge-sharing, professional growth, and memorable networking opportunities.

If you have an interesting case you'd like to present via a poster presentation or if you're interested in delivering a lecture, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your CV and gain professional public speaking experience. Sharing your knowledge and insights in this setting not only enhances your own skills but also contributes to the collective learning of our community.

Whether you’re looking to earn 10-12 ASCP continuing medical education credits, or simply eager to connect with peers, this conference has something for everyone. This conference is for everyone from every region.

Conference Highlights:

• Meet & Greet: Kick off the weekend on Thursday evening, October 10th, with a casual gathering at the Courtyard New Haven at Yale's lobby lounge. Enjoy New Haven's iconic Frank Pepe's pizza, sip your favorite drinks, and mingle with fellow PAs.

• Conference Sessions: Friday and Saturday will feature a robust lineup of lectures covering advanced cancer anatomic pathology, laboratory safety, medical ethics, and more. All meals (breakfast and lunch) are included, ensuring you stay energized throughout the sessions.

• Social Events: On Friday night, we’re turning up the fun with our FIRST annual PA-ickleball Tournament at Pickleville, CT! Whether you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines in the comfortable lounge atmosphere, enjoy a lively evening with Tex-Mex bites, refreshing drinks, and plenty of laughs.

We’re still finalizing the schedule details. You can expect a dynamic mix of engaging lectures, interactive sessions, and plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues. As we alternate the conference location annually between the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions, we’re committed to making these events accessible and inclusive for all.

PANE is the Pathologists' Assistants of New England's regional professional organization, committed to providing annual educational conference opportunities for all Pathologists' Assistants. All conferences/CMLEs qualify for ASCP approval. PANE provides Continuing Education opportunities through our annual conference/regional meeting and networking opportunities in the field of pathology.

We are excited to announce our 2024 regional conference is a joint conference with the Mid-Atlantic Pathologists' Assistants- MAPA in discussions to be held at Yale Medical School in New Haven, Connecticut in October 2024.
